Space, can truly be a wonder sometimes. You watch the stars flick by as you sit back in your new L-71 spaceship. Despite it being an older model, you practically got it for a steal, especially in its condition. It was perfect for your solo travel across the cosmos, with a wide open floor plan that included a [[kitchen]], a [[work station]], and [[extra lounge room]]. You can explore these areas by clicking on them. You wipe the protective glass barrier between you and the infinite sprawling frozen death trap that's space for the third time in 20 minutes. If life was anything, it was this ship. A red light blinks in the captains quarters. You are almost out of fuel. You check the overhead compartment and curse yourself for forgetting to stock up. The closest planet is 2 jumps away in a far out pocket of the Sector you're travelling through. It is called Kobos. A reel of information comes up about the planet: - It has one king, and most of it's population is situated in the city under his palace. The pictures look luxurious. The people dress in silk and golden colors that glint against the neon night. Perhaps you could find some new toys to add to your workstation. You set your path for [[Kobos]].

Your workstation contains all your favorite toys: The new Drill-zo 800. You never use it, but you never know when it might come in handy. -A fancy Joro 20 holster for your favorite gun. Of course, you don't own a gun as you're not much of a gunslinger, but it's so beautiful to look at with it's gorgeous purple dragon skin finish. -Two Gragglepox₁ figurines made out of the finest crystalized mountain rock of Ranco. Just looking at them makes you long for the beautiful orange nights of Ranco. -And finally your most prized possesions pure onyx paperweights forged in the mines of Exitall. It had taken you over 20 years to collect all the colors you have now, and allyou were missing was pink. The most elusive color known to the Universe. One for it's hard coloring (there's just not that many red and white onyx furs) and two for it's length to make. They say it takes the orcs AT LEAST 3000 years for them to form perfectly, a pink one would take almost double that. One of their last known locations was on a planet called Youris, all the way across the galaxy. You admire them through their glass case, before going back to [[The Window]] <abbr title="footnote text goes here.">1. Gragglepox are of the Graggle planet. They are 4 foot tall, and look quite like terran bunnies. They have extra long fangs that scrape the floor to sense where they're going, as they're blind!</abbr>

You've decorated your lounge room with beautiful furniture you picked up at the glaxay's greatest: GALAXY'S GREATEST FURNITURE DEPOT. THE FINEST FOR THE CHEAPEST. Orange sofas that go perfectly with the light grey walls, a mosaic patterned rug, (that unfortunately hides a stain from the previous owners of the ship), and the newest Play Station 300 under the unfolding 50 inch flat screen. You peruse the games and movies, terrans were still making their sports games, NBA 3k, FIFA 3k13, all Terran sports seemed the same to you, eh. The movies as well. You glance at your vintage copy of the first Aliens and sigh, as much fun as it is to watch these caricatures, it's apalling to see how much they got wrong...and quite racist too. As much as you love your hangout room, you never really invited anyone over to share it with you. Ah well, such is the life of the space traveller. Go back to [[The Window]].

You dock at the Kobosian terminal and are immediately greeted by a pretty woman in red. Her eyes are lidded slits, and golden jewlry dangles from her hair, her wrists, and even her teeth, which are encased in golden tips. "Welcome to Kobos," she says, "As the weather gets so hot in the morning, it's recomended you take a complementary shawl to protect yourself when the sun comes up. Would you like [[red]] or [[blue]]?

"Excellent choice," she says, "It looks fantastic! While we refuel your ship, please check out the city of Tokoma. People from all over the UNIVERSE come to experience our city. I'm sure by the time you've got your feel, you won't want to leave!" You chuckle. You've never been situated in one place for very long. There's too much out there to explore. You leave your keys with her and walk out of the terminal into [[Tokoma City]].

"Isn't this city amazing? I mean it's got everything you could ever want. Just yesterday I bought a new ice machine that crystalizes the ice so it doesn't melt as fast in this hot weather. It's a little hard to use with my electrical outlets, but I'm getting a guy to come tomorrow so he can hook it directly to the box. Then I'll share ice with the rest of my family and neighbors. "I love your shawl! Only travellers get to accept those. Unfortunately us Kobossians have to buy them, but it's no trouble when I can just go to Speedy Fits and pick one up for half the price. I mean it's an absolute luxury to wear what the Tokas wear, even if it is from last season. It's much better than some of the RAGS I see others wearing." "Would you mind if I touch it?" [[sure??]]

The gentleman's sign reads: FOR THE END OF ALL TIMES. DINE ON THE TOKAS. "What does that mean?" You ask. The man stares at you with wide eyes. His pupils glit in every direction, before he snaps them towards you, "Don't trust what you hear around here. It's all a sham. The Toka want you to believe that everything is good around here, but just walk 8 blocks out and you'll see what's really going on. MILLIONS starving and sick. It's time to dine on the Tokas. Before you enter the bar, you come across a little boy waiting out front. You ask him if he's waiting for someone inside. He says, "Every night they toss out some of the old stuff and I try to grab a few pieces before I go back home. I'm too young to get anything from inside, so I take whatever I can." You smile. You remember your days as a young tyke. You were just the same, scrounging around every place you visited for something to keep with you. You nod to the boy, "I'll tell you what, I'll try to get a little something out here for you." His eyes lit up. "Awesome!" He moves to hug you and you're taken aback. You try to push him away, but he's got surprisingly strong grip for a young one. "Thank you kindly!" The boy sits down and you head in. Thank god he's not hugging you anymore! It's a swanky place. It's lit entirely by flying drones, that move silently through the rustic wood ceiling, despite the steel exterior of the place. You sit at the bar and [[talk to the bartender.]]

The ceilings are intracate and wood carved like genuine palaces with murals depicting the birth of the Universe so detailed it made you wonder if you had stepped into the vast beautiful darkness. I've never been, but I hear the food is to die for. Literally! I can't tell you how many people I've seen trying to steal from the bins behind the restaurant. You walk away from the man, but this does intrigue you. The information mentioned nothing about poverty in Kobos. Of course the entire planet couldn't look like this, but surely there wasn't enough poverty for people to be holding signs in the street. You've seen planets like this before, and while it's not perfect, it surely isn't dire. And in Sector 8 of all Sectors. "What'll it be?" a cool flaming drink called [[the volcano]] a glowing green pick me up called [[flamingo]] a clear drink, filled with energizing minerals called [[Zing!]]

The bartender lights the drink on fire and then you take a sip. Tastes like citrus. The bartender smiles, "heh, you like that? Man just wait until you try the food. In fact, it's on the house. We always try to support our tourists here in Tokoma. Keeps 'em coming back. Have a plate of Jujis. Jujis are a Tokoma delicacy of fried dough with spiced chilis and sugar dusted on top. He pours the drink in the glass and hands it over. It tastes like bubblegum and makes your tongue sparkle! The bartender smiles, "heh, you like that? Man just wait until you try the food. "Be careful with this one," the bartender says as he passed it to you. You down it in one gulp and feel the energizing vibrations. It's like electricity travelled from your head to your toes. It's Zing! The bartender smiles, "heh, you like that? Man just wait until you try the food. In fact, it's on the house. We always try to support our tourists here in Tokoma. Keeps 'em coming back. The Jujis are delicious. Before you finish, you stuff one in your pocket for the boy. "Wow thanks! This place really is great! So much hospitality." "Man they're good!" You say, you turn to a man beside you, "Have you ever had these before?" He smiles, "Of course I have. They're some of the best desserts in this Sector. I love it with a dip of Kobossian coffee. Here [[try it]].

You dip the pastry into the warm cofee. Heaven is achieved. [[talk to man]]

"This is fantastic!" You say. As you stuff more down, you ask the man, "So what else is there to Kobos? It can't just be Tokoma can it?" "Well most of Kobos is just desert because of how hot it is. There is the forest Oasis, but most people haven't settled there because of how trecherous the desert is between here and there. I don't even know what lurks in between and I wouldn't want to find out. There is a fabled legend though. On the far side of the planet –in the wildlands no one dare go– live a group of Pirates with the most luxurious treasures known to man. Rare jewels, pelts of all kinds. Last I heard they had just been to Youris, and you know that place is loaded. Your eyes light up. Youris is the last known location of the pink onyx paperwieight. You could finally complete your collection. A beautiful rarity that would only belong to you. It'd be the most sought after collection in the Universe. "Where did you say these Pirates were again?" "The Wildlands up in the mountains, but you'd have to be insane to go there. You'd die before you even got close." "How long would it take by ship?" You ask. "I dunno. About a half day. But good luck with that, they don't let ships past the city. Wouldn't want them getting ripped apart by the slums. You delight as you think about your completed collected, but you catch yourself. The [[what?]]

"The slums. Just outside the–" He stops mid sentence. For a second he seems confused, but then remembers. "You just can't go outside the city. There is nothing but wasteland. And those Pirates are just an old folktale. I bet they don't even exsist. Whatever, just eat your food." You keep munching on your Juji. You get a ring on your wristwatch. Your ship is done refueling. The people here are so nice, they wouldn't mind if you just did a little fly-by. It's not like you'll be landing anywhere. You'll just do a little circle around the mountains to see if these Pirates are even real. Go [[collect your ship.]]

The woman who greeted you the first time hands you your keys. "Here you go. You should be satisfied with your refueling. We've taken the units out of your account." You thank her and head to your ship, but you can't help but ask: "Maam, is there any way I can get to –the Wildlands?" Her eyes widended and her smile turned down for a second before she was back, "Well why would you want to do that? Everything you could ever need is within in the city. Is there something you're looking for?"
